A4 Print Oil & Water

The work is a print reproduction of a large piece of work created using acrylic paint on linen and mixed media. The artwork shows churning water which represents constant change. Bright red tendrils push up like memories or fragments from elsewhere, disrupting the scene. I combine elements to create a fragmented, seascape full of tension and disparate objects. It asks: what happens in the pause between departure and arrival, when everything shifts and nothing quite fits? This “transit space” is a place of alert awareness, held in suspension.
